Any customer that purchases an ALTUSEN 15” or 17” LCD KVM and discovers one or more "dead" pixels on the LCD panel within three months from the date of purchase is eligible to receive a replacement product.
A dead pixel is defined as a pixel that is improperly lit when the screen has an all black background. All other problem pixels are referred to as missing pixels and are not covered by this policy. Improperly lit pixels against background colors other than black are considered missing pixels and therefore not covered by this policy.
If within three months of purchasing your ALTUSEN 15” or 17” LCD KVM you discover a dead pixel, please contact ATEN support via the online e-support platform at http://support.aten.com, at via email at support@aten-usa.com, via telephone at 949-428-1111 or toll free at 1- 888-999-ATEN (2836), or via fax at 949-428-1100. Please be prepared to submit a proof of purchase, such as a receipt, showing when you purchased the product. Additionally, please be advised that you will be requested to return the product with all of its accessories and in the original packaging.
*Note: the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel is made up of millions of transistors and if any one of these should fail this may cause a dead pixel. Though modern semiconductor manufacturing processes can now achieve yields of over 90%, some LCD panels will still have several dead pixels. To protect consumers' rights most manufacturers have dead pixel guidelines in place. For example, major Japanese manufacturers allow a fault rate of between 5 to 8 pixels per panel. ATEN, however, wants to ensure the best display quality for its customers and therefore, has set strict standards for our ALTUSEN LCD KVM products which are supported by this Zero Dead Pixel Policy.
ATEN reserves the right to modify the Zero Dead Pixel Policy at any time.
