ATEN 16-port IP KVM On the Net, KN9116, offers a highly efficient network management solution. In addition to its console ports for local management, the KN9108/KN9116's built-in LAN port provides network administrators the ability to access computers from any station connected to the network, whether from the LAN, WAN, or the Internet. Network administrators can enjoy freedom from being bound to the server room; work from anywhere in the office, remote locations, or even from home! There is no need to pre-install any software; simply load your browser and launch the Windows/Java Client from within the browser to access your KN9116.
The KN9116 controls up to 8/16 computers directly and 64/128 computers by cascading and offers many advanced features such as an intuitive OSD (On Screen Display), Hot Keys, Radius server support, excellent video resolutions, Multi-Session visual capability, flash ROM for firmware upgrades, remote console access, message board, and radius server support. 2-level password security for administration of user rights, 128-bit SSL encryption, IP and MAC Filters, and Automatic Logout for protection during idle sessions. Combining with ATEN's power unit, PN0108, the KN9116 allows network administrators not only to manage but also shut down and reboot their systems locally or remotely. |

For Remote Computers:
- For best results, computers that remotely access the KN9116 should have at least PIII GHz processor, with screen resolution set to 1024x748
- For the Windows Client, you must have DirectX 7.0 or higher installed
- For Java Client, you must have Sun's Java 2 (1.4 or higher) runtime environments installed
- Browsers must be 128-bit encryption enabled
Computer Requirements: The following equipment must be installed on the computers that connect to the KN9116's CPU ports
- A VGA, SVGA or Multi-sync port
- A 6-pin mini-DIN (PS/2) keyboard port
- A 6-pin mini-DIN (PS/2) mouse port Cables: 2L5202P, additional sizes also available
- USB Severs/Computers support with the USB Intelligent KVM cable (2L5202UP, 2L5203UP)
